Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, share, and protect your family's information — written for parents, in plain English.

1What this covers

This Policy covers our website and enrollment pages, the placement diagnostic and Foundation Prep, the student and parent dashboard, live classes, homework and assessments, and our communications by email, phone, and WhatsApp. Our website, enrollment, and payments are intended for adults — students participate only after a parent or legal guardian has enrolled or authorized them.

2Who is responsible

VERITASBRIDGE LEARN PRIVATE LIMITED, the company that operates Cambridge Veritas, is responsible for how this information is used. Privacy questions and requests go to our Grievance Contact below.

3What we collect

From parents

Name, email, phone, city, state, and ZIP; relationship to the student; enrollment, billing, and consent records; and your messages with us. Card numbers are entered only into Razorpay's checkout — we receive transaction records, never your full card or bank numbers.

From students

First name, grade, and Algebra I status; diagnostic answers and results; attendance, homework, quizzes, teacher feedback, and learning progress; and what they choose to share in class. Students cannot create accounts or enroll on their own — their profile is controlled through the parent's enrollment.

Automatically

Limited technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, login times, and security logs — used to run, secure, and troubleshoot the service, never to build advertising profiles about students.

4How we use it

Verify parental authority, record consent, and administer enrollment and placement
Deliver classes, homework, assessments, feedback, dashboards, and your monthly reports
Process payments, cancellations, credits, and refunds, and provide support
Prevent fraud and keep students safe; keep business, tax, and legal records

We do not use student personal information for unrelated advertising or marketing.

5Children and parental consent

Every student under 18 needs parent authorization. For students under 13, we give the parent direct notice and obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information from the student. A parent may review, correct, or delete the student's information, or withdraw consent — withdrawing it may mean the student can no longer participate, and we will explain that before closing access. There are no public student profiles or open forums.

6Live classes are never recorded

Cambridge Veritas never records classes — recording is disabled on the class platform, and no one may record, photograph, screenshot, or redistribute any part of a class. In a live class of six, a student's first name, voice, camera image, and shared work are naturally visible to the teacher and classmates. We never use a student's name, image, results, or work in advertising or testimonials without separate, specific written permission.

7Cookies and advertising

We use strictly necessary cookies and limited analytics to keep you signed in, maintain security, and understand whether the service works. We place no third-party advertising trackers on the diagnostic, enrollment, or dashboard, and we never sell, rent, or share student information for anyone's independent marketing.

Providers may process only what their job requires, and we do not authorize them to use student information for their own advertising. Teachers and authorized staff in India may access family information as needed to teach and support your child.

9How long we keep it

Diagnostic records for a student who does not enroll — deleted after 90 days
Enrolled-student learning records and parent communications — up to 24 months after completion or cancellation
Technical and security logs — up to 12 months
Payment, tax, consent, and legal records — only as long as law requires

When a period ends we delete or de-identify the information; deleted data may persist in protected backups for up to 90 days.

10Your rights

You may ask us to confirm what we hold, access or correct it, delete it, withdraw consent, stop further collection, or opt out of marketing — and appeal any decision we make. Email the Grievance Contact from your registered parent email; we verify identity and authority, aim to respond within 30 days, and never charge for a privacy request.

11Changes to this Policy

We post the revised date when we update this Policy. Before any material change to how a child's information is collected, used, or shared, we give parents direct notice and obtain new consent where required.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Six fixed monthly charges, no indefinite renewal, and real protections written down — so you never have to wonder.

1The six-payment plan

The full program price is $1,074, paid as six recurring monthly charges of $179. The plan ends automatically after the sixth charge — there is no seventh charge and nothing renews indefinitely. All six billing dates are shown at checkout and repeated in your payment confirmation.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, and your child may continue through that date. Cancelling does not ordinarily refund the current paid period.

3The four-week progress commitment

If the student completes the baseline assessment, attends every class in the first four instructional weeks, and completes every homework set on time — and a week-four equivalent assessment still shows no measurable improvement over baseline — the next four instructional weeks are free: we waive or refund the next $179 charge. Request review within 7 days of receiving the week-four report; we verify and respond within 5 business days. One tuition credit per student; it measures only the skills we teach.

4Missed classes

We do not offer credits, prorated refunds, or individual make-up classes for a student's absence — the class notes and practice materials are always in the dashboard, and because classes are never recorded, no recording exists to share.

5Classes we cancel

If we cancel a class, we provide a replacement session or issue a fair credit or prorated refund. If we ever discontinue the program, future charges stop and we refund the unused portion of anything already paid.

6Refund timing

Approved refunds are initiated to your original payment method within 7–10 business days; your bank or card network may take a little longer to post the credit. We confirm when the refund is initiated.

Your legal rights come first

Nothing in this Policy limits any refund, cancellation, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited.

Terms of Service

The agreement between your family and Cambridge Veritas — what each side commits to.

1Agreement and parent authority

The adult completing enrollment is the contracting customer. By enrolling, you confirm you are at least 18, are the student's parent or legal guardian (or have their documented authority), accept these Terms and the recurring-payment terms, and will make sure the student follows the student-facing rules. A minor cannot accept these Terms or authorize payment.

Plus homework, quizzes, equivalent skills assessments, dashboard access, and monthly written parent reports. The published class calendar controls over general descriptions. This is supplemental tutoring — not a school, no academic credit.

3Eligibility, placement, and Foundation Prep

The program is for Grade 8–9 students taking Algebra I or starting it next semester; enrollment is subject to placement fit, cohort availability, consent, and payment. The diagnostic is a placement tool — not a clinical, special-education, or admissions evaluation. Where it shows prerequisite gaps, we may offer a free Foundation Prep weekend bootcamp before the cohort begins.

4Your responsibilities

Provide accurate enrollment information and keep your login credentials confidential
Ensure a suitable device, stable internet, working audio, and a quiet learning space
Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access

5Live-class conduct and privacy

Classes are never recorded, and participants may not record, screenshot, livestream, or redistribute any part of a class or another participant's name, image, voice, or work. Students communicate respectfully, use the name the parent approved, and never share personal contact or social-media details in class. We may warn, mute, or remove a student whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or abusive — notifying the parent where practical — and end enrollment for serious misconduct, stopping future charges and refunding any amount paid for periods we will not provide.

6Billing authorization

Tuition is $179/month for up to six charges — a fixed six-payment plan, never an indefinite membership. Checkout clearly shows the amount, all six charge dates, the $1,074 maximum, and how to cancel; you must affirmatively authorize recurring charges. If a charge fails we may retry it per the authorization and may pause access, with notice, while an amount is overdue. We charge no late fees.

7Academic scope and outcomes

We deliver a full Algebra I sequence aligned to applicable Texas standards, and lesson order may adapt to the cohort. Performance depends on attendance, effort, prior knowledge, and many factors outside our control — except for the four-week progress commitment, we do not guarantee any grade, placement, credit, or STAAR result. Dashboard indicators are Cambridge Veritas measures (quiz average, mastery, attendance, homework), not official school grades.

8Materials and intellectual property

Our curriculum, slides, worksheets, and questions are licensed to the enrolled student for personal learning during the program — not for redistribution, resale, or AI training. Your child retains full ownership of their own original work; we host and review it only as needed to teach, assess, and report.

9Third-party services and communications

The service runs on third-party platforms (payments, live classes, messaging, email, hosting), whose own terms also apply. You agree to receive transactional messages — enrollment, schedules, safety, billing, reports, and policy changes. Marketing consent is separate and never a condition of enrollment.

10Availability, changes, and general terms

We are not responsible for delays from events outside our reasonable control (widespread outages, disasters, government action), and we will reschedule, credit, or refund fairly when we can. We may update these Terms with notice by email — never retroactively reducing a paid service or earned credit. Unenforceable provisions sever; enrollments are not transferable between families.
