confirm:

verb

Establish the truth or correctness of (something previously believed or suspected to be the case).

Example: I would be grateful, therefore, if you could confirm in writing that the monthly fee will no longer be deducted from my bank account.

deduct:

verb

Subtract or take away (an amount or part) from a total.

Example: I would be grateful, therefore, if you could confirm in writing that the monthly fee will no longer be deducted from my bank account.

fortunate:

adjective

Favoured by or involving good luck; lucky.

Example: I have also been fortunate enough to play in some of the inter-club tennis tournaments.

grateful:

adjective

Feeling or showing an appreciation for something done or received.

membership:

noun

The fact of being a member of a group.

Example: I have thoroughly enjoyed my club membership.

opportunity:

noun

A time or set of circumstances that makes it possible to do something.

regret:

Feel sad, repentant, or disappointed over (something that one has done or failed to do).

Example: I regret that I no longer wish to continue my membership.

shortly:

In a short time; soon.
