The story
Introduction
Learning English has always been a passion of mine, especially being from Assam, India, where it's not my native language. Shipa Choudhury, here, and I can't emphasise enough the importance of fluency in English, especially in my teaching profession.
Challenges and Obstacles
My journey to mastering English hasn't been without its challenges. One major hurdle was my limited vocabulary and numerous grammatical errors. However, through dedicated effort and the right resources, I've managed to overcome these obstacles.
Strategies for Improvement
Listening to correct pronunciation and intonation, coupled with consistent grammar practice, has significantly enhanced my speaking skills. Today, I confidently use English in various aspects of my life – at work, at home, even with my children – and it has truly transformed my communication abilities.
